Bipap

Hi I’m on niv bipap how long can u live with this.

Can't answer that question but my husband was given one about October of last year. When he went for a check 2 months later his O2 and Co2 levels were in the normal range. He was told to come back in a year for the next check up.

He has very severe emphysema and it certainly seems to help him although he still gets very breathless on any minor exertion.

He also has a nebuliser which he finds useless so doesn't bother with it.

I have been using it for 2 years. And sometimes during the day especially with the damp weather

I've been using a BiPAPP at night for 3.5 years. Took a while to get used to it.
