Yes, some amazing sights, and also some amazingly loud explosions that shook the building too, luckily Cinders was not spooked by it all.

The only spoiler was that the "mobile home/caravan arsonist" struck again, in the block next to ours yesterday morning. The owner is so devastated at the loss, she is a carer on minimum wage.

Happy New Year to you 2greys but quickly followed by utter dismay at the "mobile home/caravan arsonists" who struck again. Just beyond belief at times,how down right horrid some "people" can be!😠 .

Glad to know Cinders wasn't upset with the New Year fireworks....our dog Hazel hid in the bath tub for about two hours ,shaking all the while. We put a stress coat on her,but the fireworks were from a huge display only ha 'll f a mile away,so all very loud for her. She was fine when it all died down thank goodness!

That's terrible re the neighbours camper how people can do things like this to others is beyond me but agree it's getting worse . Hope you and Sharon enjoyed the festive period and Cinders was not disturbed by the fireworks x

Super shot of the scenes in South coast...I did manage to go to the London 2000 millennium fireworks with friends and my son who was only 5 or 6 years - old. The trains were all free and we stood alongside the Thames Embankment by what was the old GLC building....totally brilliant night but rather cold!
