Some people have such healthy lives
No illness to endure.
But most of us on Healthunlocked
Have things that have no cure.
With help from friends and doctors,
We don't let that get us down.
We laugh and joke like other folk,
And some times act the clown.
Also just like other folk,
The years make us grow old.
And we can live as long as they,
If we do as we are told.
But now I'm nearly 87
I wonder with a sigh.
What's the point of all of this?
Is it time to say good-bye?

Don't you dare disappear on us. Your rhymes bring a smile to my face, and a warm feeling that there are such talented people around who share their talent with others. You get rid of those Blues right now! It is sunny with a nip in the air here, oops bird feeder is empty. You should have heard me earlier, trying to deal with problems with medicine supplies and going round in circles, and Chemists, Surgeries, hospitals, I had to bite my tongue, the air nearly turned blue!!
You must dear Don stay at least a while

The lovely kate has baked you a nice steak pie

It will actually be a S&K PUDDING. Steamed for six hours in the Aga. Sorry to be pedantic but only a S&K pudding will bring our roving rhyming rascal over the hills to God's Own Country. Pies are two a penny but Kate’s steamed pudding are the dreams of paradise.

Nothing remains the same everything changes just like our thoughts and emotions.....

Such joy and peace and change to know
that your positive and negative side will always reside
within and without but the trick is to allow
expression of each and balance them equally out.
In all that lives and breathes within this world
is not without darkness and light
just like black and white pearls
Some may be dull and some may be bright
The winter and rain are necessary to our earth
As is the summer when the sun shines forth
hot and cold temperatures we experience
and accept them as natural occurrence
So it is with our thoughts and emotions
there will be times of peace and depression.
We learn to accept and also to know
that when one day may be dark and grim
the light will come in the morrow and bring
all the joys of the positive self
seeking to express this part in our life.

My Dear family Member had his 86th Birthday Today, Asked what he wanted, He Wanted Fish n Chips n Mushy Peas at "New Brighten" He can't write Rhymes(not sure) , he has early Alzeimers, But Boy can he Sing. Tony Nightingale , I love you singing all the Oldies with your Deep Heart warming Voice. I had the pleasure of your company last week in Liverpool. I look forward to his 87th Birthday. I don't know what the point of it all is and some days are really hard and there are holes in your life where people you love used to be but then there's birdsong in the trees and the sun shines on something and makes a rainbow in the room and you remember something someone you love said and it makes you laugh and I don't understand the point but it can be wonderful and it makes me want to keep on living every day.

I'm okay thanks. Just had a bit of a whimpy moment. But my many friends here have picked me up and dusted me down. I'll be all right for a bit longer now.

I’m thinking you’re not there yet. I live with my 87 year old father. He is as mean and hateful as the day is long. I know it’s dementia. Doctor took his drivers license so he kicks me out of the house weekly. He still watches Jeopardy every night and gets one once in awhile. So if you still enjoy being on this Earth please stay. It would take me days to figure out those rhymes. Take care be 😃 happy
