Sorry I can't help mine look nothing like that I'm afraid and I don't know I think it's the lower part of your lungs but I'm not an expert so don't take my word for it

forced expiratory flow at 25-75% of the pulmonary volume (FEF25-75) - I think this is the small airways measure but could be wrong. I think the minus 22 is the difference between the two test readings before and after the introduction of the -in my case - salbutamol.

It says at the bottom 'Restriction probable, further examination recommended'.

You can't eliminate it but you can improve it. Removing yourself from any smoke/pollution, taking regular and appropriate exercise, eating properly. Speak to your respiratory team about attending at a pulmonary rehabilitation course. There you will be taught appropriate exercises and given a lot of information and advice.

Looking at the results (excluding result #6) all your FEV1/FVC are over the 70% mark (82% which is 100% predictred) required for GOLD/NICE classification, however all your FVC's are below 70% (67% it says) and all your FEV1's are below 70% (67% it says) this means you are PROBABLY restrictive, people who are obstructive generally have a normal FVC and a low FVC1.

For example I'm obstructive, my FEV1 is actually near 90% on a good day, however due to my high FVC (i've got big lungs) my FEV1/FVC is only about 59% (down to about 50% on a bad day!!!!).

I am currently trying to find the article I read this in to share, but am having a bit of trouble tracking it down.

Hope this helps, keep well.

I’ve just stumbled across this post and thought I would add my comment. The pattern of you results is kit dissimilar to mine. My fef 25/75 is 41% and my others are around the 60% mark. I have restrictive lung disease due to lack of strength and, for me, this causes obstruction also as I cannot clear my airways. I keep active and try not to worry. Hope this helps a bit x
