How to I follow a post please?
Are you asking how you tick the box next to the 'Like' box to follow a post?
Ive had notifications that members have followed my posts and I want to follow, or mark ones that Im interested in from other members, e.g. the one about valves today. I have trouble refinding posts later on.
Hi 02 at the bottom of the first post there are two boxes.....tick the one saying 'follow post' then you get an email if there are further posters
Love Sohara
Thanks for your reply Sohara. How are you my friend?
Still plodding along trying to dodge the bullets😀😀 or as you may call them flu viruses. Hope you are both OK too. One day we will meet up again let's do it this year when the weather improves. We'll put a date in our diaries. 😀😀😀
Hi
you click on the box that says "+ Follow Post "
Regards
Chris
Yes, duh!
I hope you don't think I was being funny or sarcastic. We all have 'moments'
Best wishes
NO!!! Of course not chris - that's why I put a laughing emoji on my reply - here's another! I felt a bit stupid though, but not because of what you said, it's nice that people have been so helpful
Hi O2Trees. Can you tell me what " emoji" means? ie is it an acronym or contraction etc , etc. Sorry for being a bit thick, lol, but even my son doesn't know. I also apologise for being a bit " off- topic". Ta in advance.
No problem at all BSA-3. Emojis are the little visuals like in my reply above - smiley faces, angry faces, or loads of different ones like angry faces, laughing ones, flowers, dogs etc etc that you see in a post or reply, or most often at the end. You get them in texts too and there are loads available to choose from on your mobile phone if you send texts.
Hi, thanks for replying. I think that I may have misled you somewhat. What I meant was, how did they arrive at the word " emoji "? Sorry about the confusion- it was "daft o'clock" when I sent it,lol. 😁😴
'Originally meaning pictograph, the word emoji comes from Japanese e (絵, "picture") + moji (文字, "character"). The resemblance to the English words emotion and emoticon is purely coincidental.'
In the main post there is a like button and a follow post button. The follow button will follow the post.
Thanks people! Will take a look.
Hah, silly me, there's the follow button, hiding in plain site, don't know how I missed it
Jean i have cancelled your recent invite to question time or the tonight programme and booked you up for 'have i got news for you' as comedy seems more your line.....cheeky Skis and a techno Scruffs xx
Yeah I could do that Skis, though Ive seen HIGNFY guests struck dumb - with nerves? That could be me and Id feel embarrassed. Stand up (or in this case, sit down) can be terrifying and not for me I fear. Anyway whatever - Im sure Im more technically proficient than that mog of yours Skis x
When one of the smartest cookies on the group does something like that it shows that there’s hope for us all. 😀
Nice to be thought of that way Don, even though it's a bit inaccurate
