Work and pleurisy

Should I go back to work if I have pleurisy or how long should I wait and it's my 2nd time to the e.r. cause I tried to work and did some stuff last night now I'm sweating constantly and sides hurting

Hi sorry to hear you have this as I believe it is very painful. Why not ask your doctor how long before you should return to work? You might need a sick/fit note anyway. x

Hello Blaine78 .

To be honest, you don't sound well enough to be working. I remember the pain associated with pluerisy and don't think it's advisable.

I'd you can, I'd wait till you are better. Take care of yourself. Remember you are important.

Something to ask you GP but you seem unwell and you may risk complications..one of the main remedy is rest and drink fluids, use a hot water bottle for pain.. all difficult to do in the workplace..

Wot does your Doctor say, he or she can only determined wether you shud go back to work and when you shud go back.....
