Raining here Fran but l do really hope it doesn’t snow as nothing can disrupt our baby grandsons arrival.......when he decides to be born that is! Xxxx😀
I had Bea in the midst of a bad winter, my husband used to park the car up the road in case he had to take me to hospital..got to hospital it was NUPE strike, that’s what it what it was called in those days, I was left on a stretcher for hours after the birth and we ate cold salad for a week!!
Glad it is just raining for your grandson’s birth xx
Oh no! Childbirth is a difficult enough without being left on a stretcher, eating cold salad everyday! I'm sure the euphoria after Bea was born saw you through though. Hope the trip up the mountain is good (you sound like Heidi!) and your Dad in better spirits this time, to reward your efforts. Wrap up! xx Penny
It did, I was lucky she was as good as gold guzzling away no problem. I was in a ward with 15 women crying! I called my GP and said get me out of there but they had tested their first epidural on me, it was a total failure and I was paralysed for a while..I mean a real sitcom!! Xx
So glad Bea was a little darling for you....and hopefully still is ❤️ Your strong spirit shine through again. Paralysed, with nappies to change?? You're a saint! I was paralysed, almost, for a few days after reacting badly to erythromycin, so I know how alarming it can be....but I wasn't welcoming a newborn into the world at the same time!! You amaze me! xx
