so iv now got my pre assessment date for my biopsie and it says to allow 3 hrs for tests does anyone have an inklin what these could be also as of now until probably January some point until I see my specialist as I'm not in the near future getting put on any meds I'm stuck with this barking horrible chocking embarrising cough especially when it starts on a bus full of people oh the shame can anyone recommend anything other than staying in iv heard munka honey is good if that's how ya spell it ,.

I suppose blood tests, pulmonary functions maybe xray or scan?

I know how you feel but you are getting closer now..you may finally get some answers and an appropriate treatment..

I had mixed feelings too, being anxious about what I was about to find out and wishing for a diagnosis..

In my case I didn’t for one minute imagine I was going to be diagnosed with LAM, never heard of it in the first place. Strangely enough I felt relieved. Took it in my stride and thought time to get on with your life girl.

Sorry to hear you are feeling a bit down. I have nothing to add to what Hidden has said But hang in there. The sooner they know what's wrong the sooner you may get some relief.

they already told me I have mctd/ild but I haven't responded to antibiotics and no sooner I stop steroids the infection is there again so I guess I'm having a biopsy to rule out or figure out what's what I just want my life back its a struggle as it it is with bipolar and I can't see a way round it the meds for bipolar limits what I can have anyway thankyou for replying I do appreciate it .
