Feeling really low! Been in hospital from 25th August to 9th October with 20 day break in the middle. Problem is I came out at the end of first vist on 7 th September unable to stand except for a few seconds and despite doing exercises I am still struggling with about 9 mins warm up and walking getting less

Sorry to hear you are feeling poorly. It takes a while to recover..are you on oxygen??

Maybe you phone the BFL helpline for advice? You need to get professional support.

Take good care.

Great 👍

What a rubbish time you have had...when you don't exercise for long periods it's best to go right back to the beginning and start slowly building up again to regain your full strength...where you have been poorly this will probably take a bit longer so don't get frustrated do take things easy rest when you need to and you will soon build muscle and core strength back up hope you feel better soon xxx Angie

Trouble is breathing. I stand and within seconds flop back down breathless

in reply tojoke

Hence the chair suggestion there's lots you can do sitting down that will help you xxx

You're doing well - try not to rush things - you have been in hospital so it will take time to get back to 'normal'.

Hello.

I'm sorry to hear you are feeling so low. I've just had a bout of cold and have been struggling to get back into my walking routine. It definitely feels like starting all over again. It can be very frustrating. Like Dedalus says, these things take time. Try not to be too hard on yourself. Take it a day at a time.

Thinking of you.
