What does emphysema without lesions mean ??

Hi

Emphysema is damage to the Aveoli wall due to smoking or other toxic fumes, can be Alpha 1 deficiency.

The definition of Lesions is so broad the varieties are endless.

As stone says the definitions of lesions is broad,sometimes indicating old scarring from lung events such as tb,or can relate to growths or nodules benign or active,the fact that you have no indication of lesions is probably something to be very positive about,but you need to discuss this issue with your consultant/gp to get a proper understanding of your condition.good luck and good health in the future,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,skis and scruffy cat x
