Chest infection
A tough question, all I can say, without going into a detail, is probably yes, dust, stone-dust in particular can cause an infection. I cannot confirm it of course, but it is a smoking gun.
Hi it could well have caused an exacerbation but not sure about a chest infection.
The problem with stone-dust is that it is very sharp and can get lodged in the airways causing an infection. Volcanic dust can also have the same effect. In the worse case scenario, daily exposure can lead to Silicosis or "miners disease" another chronic lung disease.
I didn't know that. Thanks.
When i had building work at home i move out for a week i was so luck to have a good friend to put me up and put up with me.
Hello hopetorun. I have had to move out as well. Fortunately my son and partner have a house up north so I was able to stay there I. Did try to come back but it only took 2 days to get an infection. The building work will take 2 months so I've a way to go yet
