Amocycillan and clarithromycian
I think they are both antibiotics. I take Amoxicillin and roxithromycin. I take one tablet of roxithromycin each day. I take Amoxicillin when I get an exacerbation along with prednisone.
Your doctor is the only one who can really answer this as nobody here knows your full medical history, what other drugs you take, any allergies, etc. Give them a call and check.
My late husband had both these in his rescue pack. We understood that one treated the upper infection & the other for the lower part of the infection. He had a very rare lung condition - Idiopathic Pulmonary Haemosiderosis. However, as Mrs Mummy rightly says, only your GP can answer your questions.
They are certainly prescribed together for people with chronic or severe infections. Augmentin and Klacid are one of my regular combos and they work well together. But as others have said, don't take them without discussing with you're doctors.
