Coughing and Digestion Problems

When I sleep on either side I get a tickle in my throats that makes me cough.

For over a month now my food is going straight through me.

I had this about two months ago, had a chest infection also it lasted about 2 months not nice.

I go to bed clutching a packet of Fisherman's Friend 'sweets' (from chemists). If I feel a tickle I suck a FF and the tickle goes away!
