Salt caves

Wondered if anyone had experience of Salt Caves. There is a place in Edinburgh where you can go and relax in a room lined with salt. The vapours are supposed to help. I would be unable to go there but I was reading about the Himalayan salt lamp and the salt pipe both of which are supposed to be beneficial. Any comments please?

I know someone who goes to a salt cave and she finds it very beneficial. And she uses salt lamps too
