That's good news. The exercises will help you a lot, you'll learn lots about COPD and how to manage it, you'll meet other people with lung problems and you'll have fun. Let us know how it goes.

Hi Etheline123 ,

Useful to get the results of the spirometry test - gives an indication of what stage you are at. Best thing is stopping smoking (unless you already have) as smoking will (rapidly) speed up the rate at which the illness takes hold.

Best wishes

Good morning Susan, and a warm welcome from us. I read that you are waiting for PR....it has great benefits. You will enjoy it as well. I wish I could go more than once.

Hi Susan, I've had Emphysema for 27 years and I have just one rule. I AM THE BOSS. Not the Emphysema. Just keep reminding yourself that you are in charge.

You can live alongside C.O.P.D. (no matter what form it takes) just as long as you decide how you let it affect your day to day life. Good Luck.

Not what you're looking for?
