Lung Diseases & Rectus Abdominal Pain Strain Excersice Injury.

As some will know I have not been great with guts trouble pain .. I under went bowels screening test that come back all clear.

What my doctors failed to mention check for was Rectus Abdominal Pain Strain Injury like really DONT even think BLF warn us about being super un fit then trying to exercise that results in abdominal strain injury that as similar manifestations as appendicitis or bowel cancer.

When doctors talk about pulled muscle they fail mention it causes pain in back ribs also stops suffers bending over and effects our breathing muscles to name a few.

My experience given my exercise program .. Is I under went treatment for IBS when it was prob Rectus abdominal strain injury given my lung condition and being out of shape THAT as caused bouts of constipation.

That causes my bowels to back up that squashes my stomach AND causes acid and reflux threw that free space my bowls now fill next to my stomach THAT my lung disease hyperinflation caused.

Guess if I would of been told and doctor was more observant or not pushed for time I could saved NHS a fortune in cancer screening test mri scans and IBS treatments.

But I think am not Totaly being fair as if I had not had test would I know what I prob know now.

But would say having all information at hand is vital WHEN suffering lung disease unfit and trying to exercise given our conditions and trying to buld up a tolerance.

It can be difficult for doctors to diagnose what's wrong as several conditions have similar symptoms. And as you say, it doesn't help that they're so limited in time for appointments. My GP has 6 minute appointments, but chooses to overrun if necessary. That's OK by me - even if he sees me 35 minutes late: I know he'll overrun for me too if he thinks it's necessary.
