Ground-Hog Day...

I spent the first half of this afternoon on Ancestry...as I do...found a branch of a tree going way back to the 1400's...there were a couple of Quakers...my favourite people...not much in the way of interesting snippets though. But not to worry...I expect I could find out more by rooting about ...

Then it dawned on me I was adding the same people that I'd added this morning...so I had another look at the tree...there they were gone. All their children had vanished...every one of those poor women who birthed a baby every year...no sign of them.

No husbands or second and third husbands...no parents...all gone.

So...I've begun again from the beginning.

And if Ancestry dares to repeatedly remind me when my payment is due...which they are fond of doing...I shall spit.

That must be infuriating, don't think I'd have the patience for it.

Oh dear that must be so annoying. You must have the patience of a saint. x
