hope we get a few more nice days before winter so himself can take you out in it ,
I was heartbroken when I realised I needed a wheelchair for getting about for any distance, but I can honestly say I love it now. Theres even checkouts in primark specifically for wheelchair users. Always first in the queue. Not that I buy from there but the daughters think its a blast.
xx
Good for you vashti I was like you very reluctant at first then my 12 year old grandson (at the time) said "gran you won't hold us up anymore " out of the mouths of children eh
Take care
Dorothy
Glad you're pleased with it Vashti. Make sure you wrap up warm. I was really surprised by how cold I got when being pushed around, but I refused to have a blanket over my legs because that would make me look like an old granny (yes of course I am an old granny, but who wants to advertise?) So I wear several layers of clothing and look like an old michelin man instead! Probably not an improvement. Jan
I hope you enjoy using it and the trips you will take with it. x
Brilliant news Vashti. Enjoy! xxxx
brmm brmm!
Hurrah !
Love it can it fly, have broom will travel.
My granddaughters favourite book when she's here is ROOM ON THE BROOM she never tires of it, and she will say nanny that's not how she ( witch ) says that if I change her voice lol
You will be so glad you got it, Vashti. it will feel like a work horse after a while. Bags to add on for all the stuff from the craft shop! Also the joy of being able to stand up when you want so that you are level with all the wool and fabric to pick over.Carrying oxygen, no problem and you can regard it as another pair of legs. I really wish you lots of joy with it. No wheelies though, well not without practice. Wish you lots of trips out. love and love, Polly x
Hi Vashti that's great news, there will be no stopping g you now, himself better
Keep an eye on you. Lol. Seriously you won't know yourself , and you will be our
Roving reporter
Give all animals a hug from me.

Great have fun. Xxx
How wonderful, you will have so much fun. Although you may get a few annoying people saying "Does she take sugar," kind of remark. My son has been in a wheelchair for 15 years and still gets strange things said to, or about him.
A poncho with a hood, is very useful to pop over a coat, when the wind is chilly. My son manages to carry loads of stuff on his wheelchair, he has a tray underneath for extra room. Do you think one of the dogs would ride on your lap?
Have fun
Enjoy your new found freedom Vashti, hope it makes life easier for you x
