I know its a funny question, but when I took a photo of mine, I wondered how many of us had a dresser, or shelves for china, and how they might reflect our personalities. Mine is definitely childish, started with the beatrix potter figures when grandson was small, he's 17 now so I've no excuse, just enjoy them! iris x

Very nice China
Awwww, that's really pretty,I don't have a dresser but do have wall plates, all with foxes on them, they are of a beautiful China,my love of all things fox like started when I had my two gorgeous Japanese Shiba Inu dogs.
Oh wow, that's gorgeous Lyd. xx
For a momen there I thought it was going to be about people helping you dress !!
I have a dresser ...its full of coronation mugs...and shelves in the kitchen with Peter Rabbit dishes and mugs that were my children's ....40 years ago.
My Welsh grandmothers dresser had coronation mugs too and luster jugs.
Your collection is lovely Iris and much neater than mine
Loving your dresser too Iris. It all looks so pretty with the china and the figures. I don't have a dresser as such but a big Nathan unit that is full of china and glass. If I had to replace it I think I would have to get rid of some things as I would not have the room anymore. My mum used to have a beautiful Welsh dresser where she had her best china.
Take care xxx
My husband made these shelves years ago, and I have a more grown up dresser in the sitting room, that I. Inherited from my mother in law. I love china, and try hard to keep the collecting bug in check. Iris x
Your dresser is really lovely. So neat and tidy as well xx
I don't have one but I do recognised the plates on the lower shelf. They are Royal Dalton, bramble Hedge spring, summer autumn and winter. I have a set some where, now I think of it I'm not sure what I have done with them.

Hi GJ you are new to me but I see you joined some time ago. How are you coping with the oxygen now, hope you have sorted out the problems you had. Yes, those are the Brambley Hedge seasons plates, there is also a birthday and wedding from that series on there. The artist for Brambley Hedge was so talented. Nice to hear from you. Iris x
Just noticed that I had put the Winter and Autumn seasons away for the time being, so the two on the left are the Wedding and birthday ones! sorry if I confused you, GJ. Hope you find yours.
I've got snow globes in my cabinet and a collection of miss matched teacups.
Hi Iris, I'm not a person for dressers, but I do have shelves full of books accumulated by Brigid and myself. Yes, I think it does show bothour peronality. Brigid loves colourful books on religious poetry. I used to love chess and have tons of videos to help win this challenging games. I have music books, obviously for the flute, but also from olden times when I played the piano. I did have a spell of wanting to be a writer and have quite a few books on this art. My first English book, bought in 1967 q bit beofore I cqme to this country was History of Western Wisdom by Bertrand Russell. I read most of his books, including trying to read his Principia Mathematica.
Brigid and I collected a lot of CDs of Classical and religious music. yeah, tht is quite a stamp of our personalities. Beautiful sunday here. I've just celebrated St John teh Baptist at our church. during the afternoon barbecue, I played my flute; this was quite successful, although the wind wouldn't carry my sound very well! A good very first performance! Cheers, Mic
Well done Mic with your music. You sound a very intellectual pair! I also have lots of books, mostly fiction, enjoy historical, my most serious writer Hilary Mantell. I enjoy poetry too.
