My Baby's have kept me going since I lost my hubby. A reason to get up and go for a walk when I don't really feel up to it.
They make me move which can only be good
The short hair one is Tilly & the other one is Lola hope you like them

Hope you enjoyed your walk and I love your babes. I lost my husband 10 years ago, he was a saint, and a cardiac patient for eight years. Our old dog Ben died while I was full-time carer so had a respite for a year, then my son came in with this tiny scrap of a mongrel that he and his partner had found wandering - would I look after it for week-end as they were booked in to go camping. That was a long week-end - 12 years to be exact, he was John's constant companion to the end and my greatest comfort after his passing - he was there when others had their lives to get on with. When John protested that I couldn't take on a pup and care for him at the same time I just asked when he was thinking of leaving! He loved it. Hope they are together now.
Hi Dragonmum
Really enjoyed reading your reply. My husband also died with his heart he had heart failure so no op, they gave him 5 years he had 8 but the shock when it happened was unreal.
My husband insisted on having Lola two years before he died and she is 4 now I laugh sometimes and say wait till I come you have something to answer to leaving me with 2 dogs lol.
Glad you had 12 nice years with your little dog I would be lost without mine now.
So true they are there for you when everyone has to go back to normality I am coming to terms with the loss slowly I do miss him it would have been our golden wedding next July.
We are lucky to have friends and family but when the door shuts my baby's seem to know try sitting on a chair with both of them on my knee Thank you for your reply again done me good to know we aren't on our own and we did enjoy our walk not far but nice. Rose x
