A device carefully designed to separate the naive from their money.
Unfortunately you are talking without knowledge.
The Airnergy machine works and I a proof of that.
The only prescription that helps me to cope with COPD
Hi Northlander
I have had fortunately, no personal experience with this machine, but have read about it, and read plenty about people who have wasted their money on it. I have heard of people in tears over it because they had such high expectations which were not met at all, and they lost their money. Don't do it. You will regret it. Its so unfair that these thieves (that's what they really are), are allowed to give out such false hope. Good luck, hugs xx
Hi Northlander
I have a bunch of literature and watched the video on the internet. I was really excited that this maybe a miracle aid for COPD sufferers BUT when I looked for the feed back on the internet I found only negative responses. And the cost is very expensive. I have seen anything from £2000 to £7000 quoted. To spend that amount of money I would need very positive evidence that it works.. I am 67 and have severe COPD and would welcome any relief from my breathlessness.
The Airnergy website accurately describes what the device does, mixed with a fair bit of 'puffery' - thefreedictionary.com/puffery
It delivers room air humidified with water that has been 'excited' (i.e., slightly warmed up) by reacting with singlet oxygen. Any "unexpectedly positive affects upon the human self-healing process" would be entirely due to the placebo effect.
High-tech homeopathy.
Your understanding of how the machine works isn't really correct, but it is difficult to fully understand without a science/medical degree anyway I think!
If this machine is a placebo then so is ventolin! Sure it isn't an instant fix like the ventolin is however surviving Asthma without an inhaler is some serious proof this thing works!
I've been using an airnergy machine for 18 months now and I do find it beneficial. I spend between 20 and 30 minutes, twice a day, on it. Over this period, I gradually began to feel better in myself although It would be quite wrong to claim that there has been a dramatic improvement in my stage 4 COPD, but my lung function tests indicated an improvement over 12 months, from 21% to 28%. Whether or not it is a placebo effect, obviously I'm not best-placed to pass judgement. All I can say is that I do feel better most days than I used to 12 to 18 months ago, and I have more better days than bad days.
It most definitely is not a miracle cure, but personally I prefer to spend up to an hour a day on this rather than the alternative that was suggested, carting about a pulse-oxygen generator all day. It seems to work in some way for me.
