Same question every few weeks, I sometimes wonder if their sales department are members ;) - see these previous messages on the topic: blf.healthunlocked.com/site...

No Gordon, I am just a ordinary, 65year old who is so worried about my condition, perhaps grasping at straws, really.

I've read their add several times and it sort of comes over as the Medicine Mand from the Wild Wests cure all. They certainly like to use large, unfamiliar words. Could almost believe some of them are made up. I find the moisture content of the air that I breath important but I use saline water in my nebuliser for that.

The one thing that really sets the alarm bells ringing is the "We are not allowed to publish the price on the internet due to German restrictions,,,," To that I say "Boll@cks"...it means it's damn expensive and they are afraid to put folk of without the hard sell phone call.

Yes Brian, I suppose that is what in the back of my mind really, Just grasping, I know it wouldn't cure but if it just helped a little would be wonderful,

i find it hard to understand what it actually does. To me it seems to imply that it energises the oxygen with moisture,,,exactly what a nebuliser does if you just use saline or sterile water in it. They obviously want your phone number so that they can do the hard sell and bamboozlwe you with science. I would imgine it is also going to cost megga bucks...almost tempted to try and see what they have to say because I know that I am definately not interested in it.

I did speak to the sales people who were based in Wales and they said they could put me in touch with a company (health spa) who had a machine who would let my husband try it. But as it happened it was still over 30 miles away. I couldn't find enough evidence to prove it would really help and wanted testimonials from COPD patients which they were unable to give us. It is very expensive for a maybe. Good luck Take Care TAD xx

Hi junespoon, you seem to ask about Airenergy a lot, I am wondering if you keep losing your blogs. Its easily done when not familiar with how to find them again.

If you click on your name (top right)

then click / select (recent activity)

Look to yellow tab on the left and click on "All my blogs"

This will list all your blogs. I hope that helps you.

Here is one of your previous blogs where juliekay shares her experience:

Yes Blackey, I have asked once before, just over two weeks ago, as you quite rightly noticed I am completly new to all this ,but find it all helpful, I have been on holiday for 2 weeks, and just could not find the original, yes ,lost my blogs, but thank you so much for your help.

no moisture is involved in breath. I have one and it has been difficult to use as the breathing pipe got moisture from my lungs that I did not want to breathe back in in case of infections I had repeated - machine seems ok again now - maybe it was the position I had it in or maybe cos of humid environment after all the rain for months and months.

Anyway the theory is (accepted by many sportspeople who use it) is that oxygen we use from a breath is only around 21% whereas this machine increases the oxygen in the air to much higher and purer....so helping body oxygenate and recover better after exercise for example. I can tell a difference if I use it regularly.

If you live near north wales you cna have a try on mine.

The Airnergy website is a classic cod /pseudo scientific website of the many that are amusingly taken apart most weeks at the back of the highly reputable New Scientist magazine. It is a scam trying to detach you from £2000.

Even in the first couple of paragraphs there are either unprovable statements or absolute scientific errors - for example salt dissolves in water at about the same rate whatever the water temperature, whereas the solubility of sugar rapidly increases. There are then some rubbish statements based on theoretical quantum physics about singlets.

Personally, I agree with Bilbo (above), prescribed oxygen has made a huge positive difference to my whole existence! Get yourself checked out with your Health Care Professional.
