I also have a swelling on my arm could this be part of sarcoid if I have it.

I don't think that's impossible. My mum has sarcoid and it mainly makes her legs swell, so similar.

I have it but just in my lungs.

Thankyou. Dont know if I have it yet off to see lung specialist tomorrow not sure what to expect,had a chest x ray which showed that lymph nodes weren't right. Have felt unwell for a few months now with cough and struggle with breathing more when lying down. Have lost 2 stone due to loss of appetite. So will be glad to see someone . Dont feel do bad during the day so hoping whatever it might be that its on its way out!

You sound just like me before my diagnosis. Mine is in my lungs and I also had it on my skin. Not in the form of swelling but slightly angry patches of raised skin. the swelling you have may be due to sarcoid. I am a member of a sarcoid group and they tend to put everything wrong with them down to sarcoid. I have to say i dont' agree with this but thats just my view. The specialist might be ab;e to tell you but if not maybe you shoudl ask for a referral to the brompton.

Sarcoidosis is systemic and can present anywhere the most common are lungs and eyes for ethnic Europeans.
