Bad Night of weather in the Cotswolds

Huge winds and rain, my whole garden fence is completely down now so we have one big one plan garden with next door. At least the lights are still on and we are not in water, have a good day everyone..It can't go on forever, tomorrow is going to be sunny !

Bad weather in N Notts too, I was watching the clouds scudding across the moon at 3am....and we had a power cut, so I was searching for candles and matches, and my wind up radio. Power back on but I there are no street lights in nearby roads so maybe some people are still without electricity . My fence went few days ago

Feel so sorry for those people in flooded areas, and those who are suffering in the gales

What a night anyway just seen the news looks like a lighter weekend ahead, flooded areas look so bad its really awful.. x

Well positivethoughts, you were not alone with the storms it was much the same in the Midlands last night. It's calmed down a lot now and dry but still very cold. Hope we have a better night tonight, but at least we are not flooded as bad as some places and no snow so far feel sorry for those in the really badly hit areas.

Your absolutely right a few fences down here or there is nothing compared to those poor people suffering and it will be years before they can get over all that mess and loss.. Happy Sunday
