What do those of you who are using Liquid Oxygen do when on holiday?
My husband and I are debating on having a long weekend away in May as well as our usual holiday in June or July. I am not sure whether I request compressed oxygen for our time away. I think I can get a reservoir of Liquid Oxygen delivered to our two week holiday place but unsure about the weekend one.
I need to have up to 5litres oxygen (ambulatory) so a concentrator is not suitable.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Have word with your supplier, they do a small unit which fits in your car boot?
How much it holds not sure.
Further information
Smaller liquid oxygen base units have been introduced for those who use liquid oxygen in their every day life, but would like the freedom to travel at
short notice for a few days at a time.
A transportable liquid oxygen supply will last for approximately 5 – 6 days allowing for two fills per day of the portable units supplied by Air Liquide (Homecare) Ltd.
Just phoned BOC and they don't supply the smaller base units, only the very large one! I said that other suppliers do so, so why can't they. We just don't is what I was told. Not a satisfactory answer I thought.
I asked what others did if using liquid oxygen and wanted to go away for three or four days. Was told they get cylinders of the compressed oxygen. I don't use them as they are heavier and also don't last long enough for me as I use 5litres ambulatory.
I just wish the Portable Oxygen Concentrator I used to have delivered enough for me now. This was brilliant until I required more than 3litres!!!
