Hi Guys

Gail, I do love him but I still have times when I could hit him with a shovel (not a soft one either). This year I've been married to him for 46 (yes, forty six) years!!!!

Blakey, unfortunately I don't have any grandchildren but I do borrow my friend's grandsons sometimes (Hamish, Angus, Lachlan and Dougal).

Yesterday, I was on the phone making an appointment with my Dentist and my other half was asking me questions while I was talking to Linda, the Dentist's receptionist!!!!!! i know that we females can multi-task but I'm not able to carry on two conversations at the same time.

The long and short of it was that I managed to make an appointment for a time when I won't be able to attend!!!! To my way of thinking it was Peter's fault. I'll wait a few days and ring to change my appointment - Linda will probably think I'm a halfwit (no comments about that please).

As I said, sometimes I could hit him with a shovel but I would defend him to the end.

It's my blasted shed!!! It was a present I asked for a few years ago when I was still capable of cutting the grass and planting things. Now, it is full of the other half's rubbish.

Mind you, it is probably just as well that I'd have to empty half the stuff out before coming across a shovel.

I have a lovely 9' x 12' shed or to be more accurate my boys have a lovely shed.Bikes, motor parts and a two storey guinea pig cage complete with yelping pig. No room at all for me now. Oh yes. I do have a shovel and it's well hidden.

Oh Pepsicoley - what I wouldn't give to have a man around the house - provided he's housetrained of course lol - would really appreciate someone to help me lift Mum when she has fallen, or help with the shopping or rubbish, or worry about the money, or deal with tradesmen, or just to put an arm around me and say - it's all going to be ok. My Dennis who I love very much but still have to swear behind his back occasionally has split the hose on the vacuum cleaner had to buy a new one, this is the second time he's done this, it's also making a funny noise. He has a huge shed, more like a barn where he goes when things are making funny noises. Thought there was a spanner going round in the washing machine Sunday, I couldn't get away from the noise. It's on the blink too where did the Beloved go - yes the shed/barn. Recently replaced the fridge/freezer and microwave, just waiting for the toaster to blow up.
