Steroids or What?

Last time I had steroids the side effects were awfull so I decided that I do not want to take them again but does anyone know what can be used instead?

Hi polly, at this time I don't think there is any alternative medicine to steroids, with regard to lung infections, apart from anti biotics (ab's and steroids together usually are prescribed and work for lung infections).

If its something other than a lung infection cannot advise at all.

Maybe ask your doc to be sure if what you are experiencing needs the steroids or if the doc thinks it may be treated with other medicines.

For tips on how to manage the side affects perhaps call the helpline on the number Lynne mentions above.

i was as you are, I said the same but after a few goes you get used to them , first time you have so much energy and can not be stopped and by the end you get severe depression voice changes hoarse voice dry mouth and some times the shakes, after a few doses you get used to it,
