It is an excellent machine. quite quiet, good for both pulse dose and constant flow. I had one for a short time but it was too bulky to be portable for me. Would fit great in a car, but we don't drive, and I am not strong enough to pull it around but fabulous for using indoors. M

I think its terrific and the only one for me because I am on oxygen 24/7 with a cpap also at night . It is excellent for travelling on a plane as it goes easily under the seat in front . Very good for long distance car travel as it plugs into cigarette lighter . Bit loud for a theatre but the National puts it into the Directors box with a long lead out the window and into the stalls. Asked to leave a Cinema because of complaints re noise watching Skyfall !!! The batteries cost £450 each and that is a problem is you need 6lt pm or more as it only lasts an hour on this. You really need at least two especially for air travel . New they cost about £3500 + depending on accessories . Servicing cost £120, desktop charger £150. You can buy them secondhand for anything from £750 -£1800. You can get pulse flow and continuous flow . If the batteries have not been charged up every month they are more or less finished so check that . For anyone who needs 6-9 Litres per minute (often needed with chest infection or going up stairs ) it is the only one. The SeQual Eclipse 2 can be upgraded for £120 , but they are old now . The new one is the SeQual Eclipse Auto Sat 3.
