The sorts of measures I think you mean are only relevant to an individual person in relation to other measures that apply to them personally.Other people's measures are not relevant or helpful and the measures themselves are not something that is helpful in a diagnosis of dysfunctional breathing.

Are you asking for fev1 as a percentage of predicted? Or fev1 reading? Or fev1/fvc ratio?

These are the readings from my spirometry at the hospital. My very first was 0.75. I was then given 2 puffs of salbutomol and it rose to 1.17. ( This was about 2 or 3 weeks after my very first asthma attack.

I now have readings taken just to monitor, so I have always had my meds.

2nd reading 1.9

3rd 2.45

4th 1.87

The above readings were about 6 months apart.

My readings vary according to time of year, mostly. I get lower readings in Feb/March, August and October.

Home readings are similar to hospital ones. Lowest in the morning before meds (1.5 - 1.7) rising to 1.9 to 2.4 after meds.

Sometimes when we are not sure what is going on, or we aren’t sure about our diagnosis, then the more information we have can be helpful in developing a better understanding.

I hope this information is helpful to you.
