Finally got my date for my bronchoscopy to see what’s going on. To see why I’m so having much trouble despite high dose treatment and negative spiro/ feno etc.

It’s is on Wednesday, and I’m starting to feel chesty, asthma cough getting worse leading me to vomit (it’s only morning/night & negative covid test) & tight etc. I’m just trying to hold on until Wednesday to see if I need antibiotics/pred, as otherwise id have to delay the bronchoscopy. Every morning/night I feel like I’ve been run over 🤦🏻‍♀️

If your asthma is bad they may not do it anyway - I realise that's not overly helpful but don't not treat your asthma and cause yourself more issues! Deferring the bronchoscopy wouldn't be ideal but neither would acute asthma attacks.

I know, it’s just the frustration of having waited so long for the appointment and then the last bronchoscopy was void as they did it a few days after pred so it shouldn’t really have been done.

Keep your heart up Lotti_321- it’s hard to wait but hopefully the results will help with a usable Dignostic tool to improve your condition.

We will all b thinking of you . It must b dreadful to feel so sick, it’s probably more that u are worn out at this stage.

Keep us posted.
