O Dear I woke up this morning unable to breath generally feeling unwell. Just after breakfast my daughter phoned as usual to see how me and mum were feeling, and that it was today that she was having workman. About 30mins later she phoned and asked if she and my granddaughter could come round with their little pug dog as the dog was constantly barking.
We all had a wonderful morning catching up on all the things we have not spoken about over the internet video {Thank god for this at least whilst shielding etc we are able to see and chat with friends and family} Both me and my wife are looking forward to when all the family can meet up at Bridlington and enjoy family life together like it was over a year ago.
It feels like I have come out of that long tunnel and back into the light.
Even though I still do not feel very well at least it has brightened up my day.
What are you looking forward to in the near future? I would like to hear any good news instead of doom and gloom
Keep Well and Stay Safe.

At the start of June I am going as a delayed Xmas present to my local alpaca farm to take some for a walk and feed carrots. Never met alpacas before so I'm very excited!
Hope that all your plans are achieved. I live very close to Horse racing trainers in Yorkshire and Yorkshire Wildlife Centre so there is plenty of pony carrots available to purchase at the road side. So I suggest that you take plenty carrots with you as I believe that they do enjoy a carrot or perhaps a net bag full? Enjoy Yourself what ever.
It is a pity we cant all come with you for the enjoyment and perhaps a Mince Pie or a piece of Christmas Cake, washed down with a drink of your choice? But it will be fantastic if you would let us know how you get on !!!!
I love your post Wheesy. I'm looking forward to travelling to see family after 17th May. See = be with. Phone calls and video calls have been fantastic, but they don't beat actually being with someone. In the meantime I'm seeing my local family and arranging to see friends I haven't yet met up with. I've never eaten Al fresco so much. Roll on 17th.
What does it matter about the location were you eat and enjoy meeting up with family and friends, in my personal opinion it does not matter how many people that are in your party as long as you keep to the rules. I have been admitted many times during the lockdown and on two occasions I have escaped catching the virus as on both occasions the other 3 patients contacted corona virus and also on every occasion I have been in wards where close contact was very difficult to achieve,{End of the boring bit}.
Enjoy every minute that we can and hope to keep this virus under control. We have bet many things in days gone by.
