Hope 680 here. I take Sertide 125 x2 puffs daily. I just wondering if Sertide 125 can be increased . I have had a flare up of my asthma but my peak flow measure is sitting at 340/350 which is normal for me over the past few weeks. My oxygen levels are sitting at 99% when I got checked out at hospital yesterday. I phone my GP this morning to get advice and asked for a call back from the doctor but was told it was only in cases of emergency i could get this call. Would be grateful for any advice.

Seretide 125 should normally be 2 puffs TWICE a day.

This is helpful thank you. I will try and get an appointment with GP.

Good move!

An extra puff certainly will not do any harm to you if you feel the need.

Yes I thought so too , but needed that reassure that I was doing the right thing. Will get it checked out with GP. Thank you.

Maximum safe dose of your inhaler would be total of 12 puffs per day, but only for a limited time.
