I have very dry eyes at night i have tried several ointment from doctors like night ointments but nothing seems to be working x any ideas

Erm, this is a forum for those suffering from asthma. So unless you are an asthmatic wondering whether your dry eyes are the result of asthma meds you are taking, you might want to try another site.

Alternatively, you could make an appointment to see an optician. They have considerable knowledge on matters concerning the health of eyes and may be able to suggest something to help you.

I had dry eyes and incessant winter colds before I was diagnosed with late onset asthma and fixed small airways obstruction. Like you, I found most eye drops useless but, as I was a hayfever sufferer, I extended my Beconase use into the winter months and that has improved both symptoms. Nobody knows why, but worth a try as Beconase (or similar corticosteroid nasal spray) is available over the counter.

Ow thank you for that I will try that as I suffer from hay fever in summer time x I've just taken a hayfever tablet it's worth a try x
