Magnesium

I’ve seen a couple of comments on here about people taking magnesium for their asthma. Can I ask how it helps? Has the dr prescribed it or do the vitamin tablets you can get work the same?

Personally I have taken it fir years as I was deficient in it , I was seeking a private allergy doctor as nhs don’t prescribe it , they only seem to give it intavenous when you have an attack , which doesn’t make sense to me . Because of our food chain now a lot of vitamins that were found naturally in our veg and the soil have been stripped out by the growing process , therefore a lot of people are deficient in vitamins and minerals because of it, also the medication we take does the same . I take high dose vitamin d and magnesium, k2 mk7 needs to be taken with vitamin d so it gets to the right places . I’ve had one infection in 10 months and I put it down to that plus cutting out sugar and wheat
