Hi I have been reading the interesting posts about Fostair I was changed from Clenil to costs it by my local thoracic consultant and have been taking it since April as was in hospital 3 weeks either pneumonia. I have taken it regularly till to date but over the last week or so have experienced unexplained diarrhoea (only at certain times of the day) usually late afternoon early evening and the last few days have experienced indigestion like symptoms . Ism wondering of anyone has had similar experiences ? Mrs P.

The inhaler is a tried & tested one, but gastrointestinal disorders are listed as an "uncommon" (affecting between 1/100 & 1/1000 people) side effect here:

Unless there's another explanation, it's certainly possible you're unlucky with it, so I'd have a chat with the consultant, or go via your GP & explain what's happening to get their take on it.
