I am seeing a consultant regarding my breathlessness. I have had all sorts of tests . It's not asthma or allergies. The consultant thinks it may be vocal cord dysfunction. I have looked on Google and I seem to have most of the symptoms. I wonder if anyone on here suffers from it .

Cast aside everything you seen on Google otherwise you will see the consultant and tell the symptoms that fit VCD criteria, and maybe something relevant.

What tests have they done to conclude it's not asthma? There are various disorders of the respiratory tract that can mimic asthma, so they may be right, but make sure that asthma or other lung troubles have been ruled out properly.

I have seen the consultant three times since Jan . I have had CT scan bloods taken for allergies and many other tests all fine . I have Gastric reflux and some damage to my vocal cords have seen a speech therapist in the passed . The main reason for my question was to see if anyone else has this and can it be cured .
