Hi all hope everyone ok , think it’s going to b a long night these lungs of mine don’t like night time all I’m doing is coughing and wheezing driving me mad so tired my eyes sting but lungs say different hope everyone else having a good sleep need my bed in Brompton next Tuesday but I got a feeling I’m not going to get it as a few people I know r still waiting after a few weeks of waiting but fingers crossed o go in these lungs need it now hope everyone else is doing ok

Hi Tracey. Sorry you are feeling so rough. Try and have some cat naps in the day. Won't be long now until you get into hospital so in the meantime try and rest and keep in the warm xxxx

I’m in Brompton now been here since last Friday but seen doc and there letting me home come back again few months x

Hi, sorry to hear you are feeling so unwell. You must feel exhausted not sleeping, cant you catch small sleeps during the day? I know its not perfect but I find it helps. Hope your hospital bed comes on time.Pam

Sorry to hear that, know how you feel as been coughing myself & barely getting any sleep, tried sitting up, xtra pillows, but nothing works!

You long for sleep, but it doesn't come, even trying to sleep during the day ain't easy (I've got a rather nasty virus on top of my asthma). I have reached the point where dozing off sitting up

Yea that’s me I gotta mountain of pillows but doesn’t help I need sleep badly not slept a night in I don’t remember to b honest

Lie down and place over your eyes. Help your stinging eyes😘

Sleep has finally come, but @ the price of waking up choking, just can't win! I actually found laying down flat helped - strange I know!!

Hi that’s ok there letting me out by weekend got to come back in July for clinic only reduced them by 5mg as my lungs won’t tolerate it any lower had rough few days so sticking to 35mg and come back in and try again got to take it easy when I go home and try not to put them back up at all hope everyone ok take care x

Good luck with all that. I'm now on asthma tablets as have a cough that simply won't go away & has caused me to crack a rib on my left side & is taking ages to heal, did it nearly 12 wks ago!
