I have had asthma for a number of years and found this site whilst looking for info about side effects of Uniphyllin (which I have been prescribed recently). Already I have read some fascinating posts which have answered a number of questions I had - and I have seen some great advice which I will be following up. I hope I will be able to contribute with my own experiences and thoughts in the future..

I think you need to address the panic attacks first and foremost! Your GP should be able to refer you to someone who can help control them. If not, then try the help line at British Lung Foundation. Once you start to panic it is very difficult to regain control, and this can only make any asthma symptoms worse.
