Its also called silent reflux it has such a long name I cant say it let alone spell it :) but if you google it I have all but 5 of the 25plus symptoms and she saw my thorax had acid damage Yah, but on the up side it seems fairly easy to resolve though no quick fix with diet and some medication,

I have a condition called gastric oesophageal reflux, I did not know I had it till I saw a consultant because I kept sounding like a frog it had damaged my vocal chords. I don't know if this will help you but I have cut out all citrus, pineapple, tomatoes, onions, spicey foods and gluten. Because if my vocal chords I have also cut out caffeine, lactose and menthol, sounds tough following this way of eating but I never look at what I cannot eat but what I can BUT I miss chocolate hope this helps blood luck :-)

Thank you I have looked into the diet and am going to follow it to the letter . Don't want to take the tablets so wish me luck .

Poor you, but glad to hear that you've found a diet. Another thing that might help is to raise the head of your bed by about six inches (don't rely on pillows, you'll slip off them during the night). This can help to prevent reflux occurring at night. You also want to avoid eating within at least three (preferably four) hours of going to bed, and try to stay upright as much as you can (slouching doesn't help).

Hope things improve for you soon.
