Finished 5 day course of pred (1st time been put on them) Tuesday just gone , felt really good no wheezing,coughing tight chest . Woke this morning and it's that time of the month again so this is when I really struggle. Does any other ladies have the same problem

Glad the pred helped. 😊 Yes hormones can play you up or you finished your pred, thought it was over and you need another course.. If no better tomorrow book another appointment. Struggling is no good. I wish you better days 🌺🌸🌷

Morning. I also suggest really badly with hormones triggering my asthma.  It's been getting worse as I get older. This past year I have been having to raise my steroids every month to compensate for it. About 4 months, my go put me onto a progesterone only mini pill. This has worked for me. I still get little wheezes etc. But it hasn't  been so bad that  I've  had to  raise my steroids. ☺ Hope you feel a bit better soon xx

Hi I used to be like this until I went through the menopause.  I have my life back!  x

Luckily don't have the monthly problem any more but yes this was always a bad time for me too.

It's a nightmare the week before until it's finished so 2 outof 4 weeks I really struggle  got to see the asthma nurse on the 18th going to see if she can help, each month seems to get worse 😒
