Quick update. I still only have £10 pledged towards my £100 target (the link is above if you have a few spare pennies for the work the amazing folks at AUK do)
I have just 20lbs to go to reach my target. Back in 2011 I had 80lbs to lose. Now I have 20. And they will be GONE by Christmas. Of that I'm sure.
not even my lungs being stroppy is stopping me this time- does help that I have met a few people that will happily kick me if I need to stop and take a breather!
And I've lost 71 of the 80lbs I set myself to lose. I'll be at my weight loss goal in a couple of months I hope.
I'd love to say that losing all the weight has improved my asthma, but I can't LOL. This week has been horrendous. To the point where I've contemplated NOT going to the classes I enjoy so much. Hopefully a day off today and I'll be back in fine fettle tomorrow

awww well done wb
I can't say losing weight improved my asthma either! I lost 5st a few years ago and if anything my asthma got worse :-s (sorry don't mean to send you on a downer)
Jingl, last time I was lighter my asthma was still pretty rough. In fact I have a recollection of the asthma nurse at college asking if I ""needed to be on all these inhalers"" Considering my PF was about 250 I think the answer was yes! (PB is 500)
yeah even at my lightest adult weight (so riiiiight back about 19yrs ago!) It was still bad. I recollect the asthma nurse I saw at college asking ""if you really need those inhalers"" considering my pf was going between 200-250 and my PB was 500... I think I did!
