difficult asthma clinic?

what's the difference between the normal asthma clinic and the difficult asthma clinic?

I've had a letter through the post today saying I've had my appointment changed from my normal clinic, to the difficult asthma one.

At my hospital, the difficult clinic is run just by the consultant with a special interest in asthma. If you don't go to the difficult clinic then you might have an appt with any of the other chest consultants. At the difficult clinic they do things like nitric oxide testing which they don't do in general clinics.
