Humidity at Home

Dear all

First post so please be gentle - I have a 10 year with Chronic asthma since age of 3. Been to hospital every year since diagnosed. Child is stable in good weather and all alergy tests are negative and no family asthma however when winter comes and the colds start she is very unstable.

I was interested to watch a Dr. on tv this morning talking about ""home humidity"" that when it is excessive ie. above 50% humididty that asthma incidents increase. My child has always suffered when the air pressure swings and normally much worse with cold dry air but there seems little consistency. I am now going to keep a diary and monitor humidity and temperature with a hygrograph.

Does anyone else notice the same and does anyone have any good ideas? I look forward to reading any posts. Kind regards
