scream the need to
Do it virtually, on here! Glad you enjoyed the film (I will be gathering some people to go see it even if I haven't seen the first half) but it is so annoying the way it's so hard to ignore the breathing and the way you have to plan round it. I had a lovely evening playing music (which I wasn't sure would be possible) and was able to forget about things for a little bit but not long, I will probably feel rubbish tomorrow because I overdid it today and I was really worried for days beforehand that I wouldn't be able to go! Again, trying to remind myself it could be a lot worse (at least I don't have to worry about Costa like many on here) but scream away.
If it weren't for this forum I would be screaming a lot more though - I am so glad I found this place, don't know what I'd have done without it.
I think we all know how you feel - the asthma seems to take a positively fiendish delight in taking the shine off everything we do.
What you REALLY need to vent your feelings is something that will make a lot of noise with very little effort, so every time you're fed up you could make loads of noise until you felt better. I bought my grandson a football rattle, which makes a glorious amount of noise at just the flick of a wrist. Something like that would be just the job.
Take care
xx
Football rattle sounds just the thing! Good call, Annista!
My grandmother had flags when she was in hospital so that she could let the doctors, nurses and therapists know how she was feeling without having to say anything. One flag said 'hello' and the other said 'piss off'!
I want a football rattle too! Love the idea of the flags.
Been thinking maybe I should get a 'slow vehicle' sign for my backside - keep having this problem where some people are too polite to pass me even though I'm trying to keep aside because I used to really hate walking behind slow people who didn't realise there was someone behind them wanting to get past!
