confuesd about symptoms

what are the symptoms of asthma , i am unsure, i know that caughing is a symptom and atight chest aswell as weazing. is there anything else i need to keep an eye out for. thankyou

symptoms can vary from person to person... one person can wheeze and have a tite chest, another can become short of breath, another can have all three.

people can know what triggers their symptoms, but unfortunately a small number of people sometimes dont know what triggers an attack.

have a look on this AsthmaUK website for info on asthma symptoms and triggers etc...

but if you think you or someone you know has asthma, you really should seek advice from your GP

also, you DONT always have to wheeze!!!!

grrr.... i used to never always wheeze, so doctors + nurses would call me a fake asthmatic

also if you have a silent chest (i.e. the airways are too tight to allow air in) then you wouldnt be able to wheeze... sorry if thats too scary!!
