Strange a little scary experience

I have experienced a rather strange and a little scary moment during an asthma attack earlier, my chest went very tight and I was making loud wheezing noise and very breathless then suddenly the room I was in seemed to become dark more like a shadowy darkness even though I had my room light on, after (not sure how long) a while everything was well lit again.

This was a little scary because I'm not sure what was happening?

Hi asthmagirl,

That sounds like a really awful experience but maybe one you need to get checked out tonight? A call to your ooh's Dr maybe?

Ive only ever suffered dizziness during and attack so can't comment, sorry :-(

Thanks for your reply. The OOH doctor explained that my oxygen sats had dropped low and they thought that might be the reason for my strange symptoms
