Medical ID Jewellery

Hi all,

Hope you are well today.

Does anyone know where I can get a nice ""dainty"" little medical ID bracelet from? I hate thick chunky jewellery. And I would be interested to hear about anyones experience where an ID tag has been of benefit, ie emergency info.

Kind Regards,

Chelsea

Some jewellers sell really nice medic alert bracelets. i got my necklace from our local jeweller.

I've seen beaded medical bracelets on identifyme.co.uk but haven't got one from there myself.

Just a quick point, the medic alert bracelettes are the only ones who link with system who can pull up all your details. You get a unique number which when given to the nice people at medic Alert they have everything from your list of meds to your next of kin, you can call them to tell them of a change of meds etc. It has an annual cost and a one off for the bracelette or necklace. If you are on a low income they will sponsor you if you can provide proof of low income.

You can buy bracelettes and necklaces from your jeweller that have either something inside you can write all your detials on or a space where vital detials can be engraved.

It is horses of courses, I have a medic alert one but the SOS talismens etc you can buy ""over the counter"" will also do the job.
