Pred

has anyone ever found that after being on pred for a while they have indigestion or hearburn. until last few weeks have only ever had short courses but have been on now since end jan and am finding am getting heartburn/indigestion i think and feel more yuck if thats possible? is it worth trying gaviscon or something?

Pred does upset the old tummy, many places automatically prescribe something like lansoprozole with pred. I use gaviscon as well on fosimax days as I have yet to find a way of avoiding heartburn despite taking it at least an hour before eating, drinking a pint of water and being up and about for at least an hour. Ask your dr to prescibe something for it.
