This probably sounds like a really stupid question but I am just curious to see whether it differs from person to person or from attack to attack. Everyone seems to talk a lot about feeling tight but wherabouts exactly in their chest do they feel tight. I tend to feel tight almost everywhere in my chest, also feels like an elephant is sitting on my chest.
I know it sounds a little silly - I'm just curious!!

Its much the same feeling -it feels very much like a heavy object is on my chest during an attack and its like trying to breath through a very thin straw!
Hope that helps you but i think this is quite a normal feeling for a lot of asthmatics during an attack.
