A friend recently keeps reccommending manuka honey and says it seems to work in terms of increasing her immunity she think it could work wonders for asthma.
has anyone tried a high dose of Manuka honey? Has this worked or is it as effective as drowning your sorrows in a small tub of ice cream!

All I know is a doc told me use local honey and will
I was told to buy locally produced honey as the bees have used local pollen which should help with allergens, also it's cheaper than manuka honey which is around £15 a pot. We used manuka for my Husbands crohns disease which helped symptoms .I will look out for local honey, I had forgotten all about fabulous honey.
manuka seems to be great stuff
Manuka has all sorts of medical properties including use as an antiseptic in treating skin wounds and lesions. look out for the factors or concentrations, makes all the difference in its strength.
Anyone heard of OREGANOL? Its an extract from wild mediterranean oregano that touts itself as the cure to many ills......spotted it in a health store last week.....
I take manuka honey 10+ every day, I have found it helps, I think they say you need to take at least 10+ upwards to get the benefit.
